About Us

As a young and talented artist in the '70's, David Noble attended the Art Institute of Chicago. In the early '80's, he worked on 7th Avenue designing women’s wear and sketching for Bill Blass, Geoffrey Beene and Pauline Trigere. He also designed his own label, Noble for Benton Suits, that created lines for television shows like Dynasty and The Love Boat and the movie, “Tootsie.” He drew all of the sketches for Women’s Wear Daily and widespread newspaper ads. Eventually, David spent several months at a time overseeing production of his designs in Sol, Tai Pei and Hong Kong, supervising all factory production and overseas shipping. Finally in the late '90's, he entered an intensive program at The Evanston School of Art to learn the lost wax casting method, an ancient artisan's process dating back of 6,000 years. This technique was used in Egypt, Mesopotamia, the Han Dynasty and the Benin Civilization to produce the most intricate designs imaginable. David spent ten years at Evanston, at first learning the craft and then designing to perfect his art to create his unique line of jewelry.
